SHOES
They are pairs They achieve the same goals They walk alternately together None is higher or lower than the other A pair of shoes does not have the same sides, But it's the opposite If one of them is missing, Then the other has no meaning You look down on them, Consistently. You step on them, Constantly. You make them protect your feet, Anywhere. You make them carry your whole body, Everywhere. Ordinary shoes will take you anywhere But good shoes won't take you everywhere If you make them dirty, They will take you to poor places If you make them clean, They will take you to beautiful places You choose them to, Not they choose you to. It's all come back to you. A Poem by Imelda Bajetha
